Projects
These are some of our Projects
SHIBUYUNJI SOLAR PROJECT
The Government of the Republic of Zambia granted our company the feasibility rights to undertake a feasibility study for the establishment of a Grid Connected 1000 Mega Watt Photovoltaic (PV) Solar Project. The project is proposed to be constructed in the Shibuyunji District in Zambia and is expected to add additional electricity to the National Grid to mitigate the ever increasing demand for electricity. The Project is proposed to be done in several phases with 100MW being proposed in phase one of the project. 975Hectres of land for the development of the phase one has already been secured.
Brief Description
Download
The project is expected to constitute the following key features
- Total solar photovoltaic (PV) capacity of up to 50 Mega Watts once the full project is implemented
- Access tracks to and around the site to facilitate maintenance.
- Operations and Maintenance buildings.
- Substation for evacuation of power to National grid.
- Overhead and underground electrical cabling.
CHIBULUMA SOLAR PROJECT
The project is expected to connect to the national Grid via the Nambala ZESCO substation in Mumbwa district. This substation is 320KV/220KV/33KV. This substation is approximately 15Km from our project site. Initial discussions with ZESCO indicate that this Substation can take maximum of 150MW of power.
